Holiday Message

Good Morning,

I hope you are all well and finding some peace in the chaos of the holiday season. I know 2022 has been a challenging year for many, so I hope you enjoy this break and spend time with your friends and families. Everyone has been busy at Haverhill Public Schools, wrapping up the year. Students across the District have been working hard and vigorously learning, preparing themselves for the future. Schools have hosted many Holiday Concerts and celebrations showcasing how talented our students are. Follow us on our social media pages, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, to see the fun things occurring in our schools. As a community, we have bonded with our partners to ensure everyone has the resources they need for an enjoyable holiday. If you are still in need, please visit the Haverhill Public Schools website – Holiday Resource Guide. We are so grateful to have such a great community that supports us in every way!

We have seen an increase in illnesses and absenteeism in the District due to COVID-19 or the Flu. As a gentle reminder, when it comes to COVID-19, we are not out of the woods yet; we are now seeing various strains of the virus that are more prominent. I encourage you all to be proactive and to practice preventative measures; washing hands frequently, wearing a mask if needed, social distancing, vaccinations, and most important; if you are not feeling well, staying home is best. For the latest update regarding COVID-19, visit the Commonwealth of Massachusetts website, COVID-19 Updates, and Information.

We are looking for smart and bright individuals to join our team and will host a District-Wide Job Fair on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. If you know anyone with a passion for teaching and who loves kids, send them our way! See the attached flyer for more information and open positions, or visit our website.
