I hope this message finds you all refreshed and rejuvenated after the February break. Our schools are ready to approach the upcoming weeks with enthusiasm, determination, and a commitment to learning and growth. Each day presents new opportunities to excel, support one another, and positively impact our school community. We have a lot planned for the remainder of the year! Over February Break, you should have received an email from HPS asking you to participate in a short budget survey. Our budget reflects our values and serves as a compass as we address the district’s most pressing issues. Please share what you value most in our schools as we plan for the 2024-2025 school year. Our Hillie Athletes have been excelling in sports this winter! The Wrestling Team brought home the MIAA State Championship, Coach Lawlor was named MIAA Division 1 Coach of the Year for wrestling, and numerous other athletes brought home the State Championship in their respective sports! You can find all this information on the Hillie Athletic website, along with sports schedules and information about spring sports.
Coming up in March, we have two important dates for you to remember if you have children nearing school age. The first is Haverhill’s 5th Annual Preschool Resource Fair on March 16, 2024, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Hunking School. This event will have many Haverhill Preschools, including our Moody Schools, present to answer any questions on starting your child on the learning path. The second is a Kindergarten Information Night on March 19, 2024, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Pentucket Lake School. For more information about 2024-2025 Kindergarten Registration, visit our website.
