Hello Haverhill Families,

I hope this message finds you refreshed and rejuvenated after a well-deserved summer break. As we embark on a new school year, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome back to each and every one of you. We are excited to have our students back in their classrooms.

This year promises to be full of new opportunities for growth, learning, and collaboration. Our dedicated team of educators has been working diligently to prepare for an exciting year ahead, and we want to assure you that the well-being of every student and staff member is our priority. We are eager to continue our journey together in fostering an environment where every student can thrive.

To our students, we are thrilled to see you back in the classrooms, ready to explore new subjects, engage in meaningful projects, and make new memories. Your enthusiasm and curiosity are the heart of our schools, and we are committed to supporting you every step of the way.

To our parents and guardians, thank you for your continued partnership and support. Your involvement is crucial to our students’ success, and we value the strong community we build together. We are committed to open communication and encourage you to reach out with any questions or concerns as we navigate this new school year.

School attendance is crucial for several reasons: academic success, skill development, social interaction, routine and structure, emotional well-being, and future opportunities. We encourage you to ensure your child attends school every day unless they are sick. Regular attendance is fundamental for maximizing educational outcomes and supporting personal growth and development.

Please check your school websites for more information on upcoming events. Our School Bus Route schedule is posted. Please remember all bus routes are subject to change. We update the routes immediately when we receive notice of changes. The first few weeks of school can be challenging with bus routes; please be patient with us as we may encounter delays. The Transportation Department, Schools, and District will notify families if there are any delays. Follow us on Facebook, and we will update you on those changes as they are received.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during the first few weeks of school as everyone gets settled in, and we are grateful for your continued support. Let’s make this year one of growth, achievement, and collaboration. Here’s to a fantastic start to the school year!

Warm regards,

Margaret Marotta, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
