September 2025 District Newsletter

An illustrated envelope with a 'September Newsletter' card, autumn leaves, and a fall background.

The first day of school is almost here — are you ready? Because we are!

Our classrooms are prepped, our teachers are excited, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back for a fantastic year of learning, growth, and connection. Let’s make this the best year yet! We’re excited to kick things off with the September edition of our HPS Newsletter, where you’ll find important updates, helpful resources, and highlights of summer fun from around our District.

We have a lot of essential dates starting the year, with the District Open Houses on Monday, August 25, 2025. Please note that a few schools have different dates and times. The 2025-2026 School Bus Routes schedule is published. Please take the time to understand your bus stop and proper procedures to help ensure a stress-free trip. Student safety is always a priority at HPS Our Transportation Department has created a Guide to Walking, Biking, or Riding to School. This has many helpful tips on how parents, guardians, and students can stay safe! The first week or two of school can be challenging with bus routes. Please be patient with us as we may encounter delays. The Transportation Department, Schools, and District will notify families if there are any delays. Follow us on FacebookInstagram, and X; we will update you on those changes as they are received.

We are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to join our HPS Team. Please check out the many job opportunities in this month’s newsletter — we have roles across departments and schools! For a complete list of job opportunities, visit our website at Current Employment Opportunities.

We’re excited to begin this new school year together and look forward to all the learning, growth, and memorable moments ahead. Thank you for your continued support and partnership — here’s to a successful and inspiring year at HPS!
