Haverhill Public Schools Sex Education, Grades 5-12
Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, in combination with content areas from the National Standards in Health Education, is embedded within the curriculum and provides education targeted for specific grade levels. Haverhill Public Schools Health Teachers provide age-appropriate Health/Sexual Health Education Instruction for Grades 5-12. Students/families will receive notification letters on content for grade levels. We encourage you to view the Health Curriculum (Sexual Health Education) presented at the School Committee Meeting on Thursday, March 09, 2023. Haverhill Community TV There are additional lessons in Grades 6-8 that have been added to the curriculum including lessons in Grade 8 on Mental Health Awareness, Grade 6 on Rights/Responsibilities/Respect and Grade 5 Financial Literacy.
