Haverhill Public Schools proudly offers tuition reimbursement to eligible groups listed below. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the course approval/tuition reimbursement language that is specific to each groups’ contract.

Please click on the link below specific for your group to access the form. Instructions are on each form and is also referenced in the collective bargaining agreement for each group. All collective bargaining agreements can be found in the “Collective Bargaining Agreement” tab.

  • Course Approval Tuition Reimbursement Admin FY27
    • The Committee agrees to allocate ten thousand dollars ($10,000), per school year, from the professional development budgeted allocations, for tuition reimbursement for bargaining unit members. The courses must be graduate level courses relating to the Administrator’s current assignment and support the educational needs of Haverhill Public Schools students. Fees and PDP’s are not eligible for reimbursement.
      • Please refer to page 124 and 25 (Article XIV – Professional Development & Education Improvement) of the Supervisory Collective Bargaining Agreement for specific language and information.
  • Course Approval Tuition Reimbursement ESP FY27
    • The Committee agrees to allocate twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), per school year for tuition reimbursement for ESP bargaining unit members. The courses must be undergraduate or graduate level courses relating to the role of an ESP and/or teacher and support the educational needs of Haverhill Public Schools students. Fees and PDP’s are not eligible for reimbursement.
    • Salary changes due to classification changes because of college credits are recognized September 1. Courses completed after September 1, will be recognized the following September 1. 
      • Please refer to Article XVII – Tuition Reimbursement of the ESP Collective Bargaining Agreement for specific language and information.
  • Course Approval Tuition Reimbursement Nurse FY27
    • The Committee agrees to allocate five thousand dollars ($5,000) per school year for tuition reimbursement for Nurse bargaining unit members. The courses must be undergraduate or graduate level courses relating to the role of an RN and support the educational needs of Haverhill Public Schools students. Fees and PDP’s are not eligible for reimbursement.
  • Course Approval Tuition Reimbursement Secretary FY27
    • Tuition reimbursement shall be allowed for one (1) undergrad or graduate level course per acaademic year, with total reimbursement for said course not to exceed five hundred ($500).
      • Please refer to Article II – Election & Salaries 8. Tuition Reimbursement of the Secretary Collective Bargaining Agreement for specific language and information.
  • Course Approval Tuition Reimbursement Security Specialist FY26
    • Tuition reimbursement for Security Specialists may not exceed $420. per course, per year.
      • Please refer to Article XXII – Professional Development of the Security Specialist Collective Bargaining Agreement for specific language and information.
  • Course Approval Tuition Reimbursement Teacher FY27
    • The Committee agrees to allocate sixty thousand dollars ($60,000), per school year, for tuition reimbursement for Teachers bargaining unit members. These courses must be graduate level courses relating to the teachers’ current assignment and support the educational needs of Haverhill Public Schools students. Reimbursement shall be at the rate of up to five hundred ($500.) per course. Fees and PDP’s are not eligible for reimbursement.
    • November 1st is the deadline (per the CBA) to submit official transcripts and move on the salary scale.
