Haverhill High School Earns State Recognition as Innovation Career Pathway

Haverhill High School’s Graphic Design and Visual Communications program has been officially designated as an Innovation Career Pathway by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
This recognition highlights Haverhill’s commitment to preparing students for high-demand careers through hands-on learning, industry-aligned coursework, and opportunities to earn Adobe Creative Suite certifications.
As one of 41 new programs approved statewide, this designation expands opportunities for students to gain real-world experience and college/career readiness skills in design, digital media, and visual communications.
Haverhill was recognized at the 2026 STEM Summit at UMass Lowell’s NERVE Center alongside education, industry, and government leaders from across Massachusetts.
