Dear Haverhill Families,
Spring has finally arrived, and it is hard to believe we are already nearing the end of the school year. As April Break approaches, we look forward to this well-deserved opportunity to rest, reset, and return refreshed for the remainder of the year. Our students and staff have been working diligently, and this is a wonderful time to celebrate and showcase their accomplishments. Please keep an eye on the district calendar for important milestone events—we look forward to celebrating these with you.
As we reflect on the progress made this year, we are also excited to share several important updates across the district. Most notably, we are nearing the opening of the new Consentino Middle School. Since 2019, this project has been thoughtfully developed through extensive collaboration with the community and building committee. Great care has gone into designing spaces that support student learning, and we look forward to seeing the building come to life with students and activity in the near future.
In addition to these facility improvements, we continue to make progress in how we communicate with our families. During April Break, we will unveil our new district website. A few years ago, we partnered with ParentSquare, which also acquired the Remind app, with the goal of streamlining all school communications into one unified platform. On Tuesday, April 21, we will take the next step in that process with the launch of our new website, which we believe you will find user-friendly and easy to navigate.
Looking ahead, over the spring and summer months, we will continue this transition by moving all Remind communications to ParentSquare. By the start of the 2026–2027 school year, all district and school communications will be delivered through ParentSquare and SmartSites. ParentSquare also offers a free mobile app, and we encourage you to download it so you can conveniently access all of your child’s school information in one place.
As we head into the break, however you choose to spend April Break—whether at home or away—we hope it provides you with some well-deserved rest and respite. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday, April 27, 2026, refreshed and ready to continue the great work ahead.
Sincerely,
Margaret Marotta, Ed.D.
