Please contact your building-based nurse or Katie Vozeolas, Supervisor of Health and Services, for questions regarding substance abuse programming for Haverhill Public Schools.
The STRONG (Screen, Triage, Referral, Ongoing support, Navigation and Growth) Program:
A therapeutic resource for Haverhill Public School Students in grades 6-12, who are impacted by substance use. Services are offered in Nettle, Hunking, Consentino and Whittier Middle Schools, and Haverhill High School. These services are confidential and voluntary.*Students who are found in possession, or believed to be under the influence of drugs/alcohol, will be required to meet for counseling upon re-entry from suspension.
Students will be assessed using a series of screening tools administered to identify risk related to youth substance use.
