• Sad News Again…

    Dear parents and guardians,

The following is a message I shared with our school community and I thought you should know – for tragedies hit us in the schools in so many ways – and all pull together to help, support, and comfort…

This week the Haverhill School community was shocked with the un-timely passing of a loving and warm senior at Haverhill High School…a hard worker and most caring and loving young lady…Dasia’s memory will live on by her gentle and kind ways that touched so many…

Midweek a beautiful little sister of a Greenleaf student – after a battle with brain cancer was called to join so many other angels in heaven…

How do we explain these losses…

Now…we have learned of a young, most respected and admired Hunking Special Education Facilitator unexpectedly passed… Angela Iannalfo has passed…I just don’t know what to say…so loved…a great Mom…teacher…wife…she had it all…

    I am so very sorry…

Last night I wrote to the staff and followed up with this note…

This morning Shannon Nolan and her staff at the Hunking all came together to comfort each other…all so deeply affected by this sudden loss of one of the “superstars for kids…”

This picture I think is truly a representation of the beauty contained in her very life – not only beauty within her smile but throughout her life and efforts with children…always most kind and thoughtful…all knew it…

As this sadness spreads throughout our school community –  please keep her and all touched by the losses we have realized this week in your thoughts and prayers…

    Angela Iannalfo….truly an angel….

I thank her and all of you from the bottom of my heart for your goodness….

    God Bless…

    Jim Scully
