What does the PTO do?

The Pentucket Lake PTO funds, organizes and provides volunteers for many events at our school. Each year we have funded a “class event” for each grade at the school. These events have been culminated in the children’s last year with a 5th Grade Luau for the “graduates.” The PTO has also donated monies and classroom supplies to each teacher within the school. Money for school events and supplies, supported by the PTO, come from fundraisers. Our biggest fundraiser is held in the fall just after school starts.

The PTO can be seen active through our volunteers: an editor for our school newsletter, a coordinator for Box Tops for Education, a coordinator and volunteers for each grade event, the welcoming committee at Open House, design and maintenance of the school and PTO websites, set-up and maintenance of our Giving Tree, teacher helpers at Parent/Teacher Conferences and much more.

The PTO is an integral part of Pentucket Lake School.

What can you do as part of the PTO?

There are many ways in which you can be involved in the Pentucket Lake PTO. Just by attending meetings, you are involved! If meetings are not held at a convenient time for you, there are still ways in which you can participate. No matter how much or how little time you have, your volunteerism and participation will make a difference. Please contact an Executive Committee member if you have questions or if you would like to help.
