Move for the Movement 2017
Jessica Flynn is a 2016 graduate from HHS. She became involved in this cause because cancer has touched several members of her family. This fundraiser “Move for the Movement” is to benefit the American Cancer Society.
Move for the Movement is a fun, inspiring and non-competitive dance exhibition in which some of the areas most talented choreographers and dancers donate their time and talents to help raise money for the American Cancer Society for vital research and important programs for those diagnosed with cancer.
There will be a total of 4 shows on January 14-15, 2017 at 12pm and 6pm each day at the Collins Center for the Performing Arts in Andover, MA.
Each show will feature dancers of all ages from area studios plus professional dancers from Boston and surrounding towns, showcasing their talents in dance styles such as jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, modern, hip hop, and musical theater. The passion and love for dance shows in every number performed because they know that what they are doing will help others who are fighting their own personal battle with cancer.
In addition to the dancing, each show offers a variety of concessions, a chance at popular raffle items, and the ability to purchase M4TM clothing apparel and more! All profit proceeds from ticket sales, concessions, raffles, and merchandise benefit the American Cancer Society.
