Dear AP Students and Parents:

Our school policy mandates that Advanced Placement students must take the AP exam in order to earn Advanced Placement credit and quality points for their AP course. If an AP student elects not to take the exam, he or she will receive the quality points awarded for honors credit rather than AP credit.

Students must indicate their decision not to take the test by December 1, 2005. Payment will be due for Advanced Placement courses in January, 2006. The basic cost per exam is $82.00. Additional information regarding registration and the deadline for payment for AP exams will follow in a subsequent letter November.

Your signatures below indicate that you are aware of our school policy. Please submit your response by October 26, 2005 to the HHS Main Office.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

Respectfully,

Joseph McMilleon, Principal
