HHS Students Visit China
This week, 7 HHS students and History Teacher Victoria Pettis are half way around the world visiting The #1 International School of Studies in Chongqing, China. Back in February, 15 of their students visited Haverhill High and stayed with our families and now our students have journeyed there. They have visited the Imperial Palace, the Great Wall of China, sampled local Chinese cuisine and have attended classes alongside their Chinese student host, learning Calligraphy, arts, and Chinese history. They are also staying in the homes of their host families. We are thrilled to provide this type of opportunity for our students through the history department at HHS and it is our hope that this is just the beginning of a long term partnership between our High School and theirs.
