• HHS Celebrates NAF Academy of Information Technology Senior Class

On September 10th we celebrated the success of our NAF Academy of Information Technology Senior class. We came together with peers, business mentors, staff, family and friends to learn about their summer paid internships and celebrate their successes. NAF students are required to complete a minimum 120 hour paid internship as a component to complete their NAFTrack Certification. We are so proud of our first cohort of AOIT students and know they will be successful as they move forward in the career path they decide to follow. Their internships will certainly help them as they make these important decisions over the coming year!

We would like to acknowledge the businesses and organizations who supported our students this summer:
    Casey’s Diner
    Discovery Club and Access 21
    HHS Website Development
    HPS iSchool
    HydraCor
    Mocera, Visconti & Company CPAs
    OwlStamp Visual Solutions
    Physical Sciences Inc.

  • Attendance Awareness Month is here!

Attendance Awareness Month is here!  Addressing chronic absences is crucial to improving graduation rates, increasing academic achievement and giving young people the best chance at success in their adult life.  Haverhill Public Schools is gearing up for an exciting month full of surprises as we join cities and towns across the country in Attendance Awareness Month.  Throughout the district we will be recognizing individuals and classrooms that make every day matter. Join the Attendance Awareness Campaign and make a difference for your community.  #schooleveryday

  • Thank you from Haverhill Public Schools

We would like to thank school staff and the community for their understanding and support in dealing with today’s incidents. As you know, due to heavy police activity in the city, schools and Haverhill police determined that a shelter-in-place for the safety of our students was warranted. Simultaneously we had a threat issued to the Pentucket Lake School , safety protocols were immediately implemented, police were called to the scene and the threat was determined to not be credible.

The School Department and city takes the safety of our citizens and particularly our students very seriously. We thank the parents for their quick response and understanding of the situation. We thank the school staff and police officers for rallying around the support and safety of our students.
