Campus fitness center open during vacation
The fitness center at Haverhill High School will be open to the public during the winter holiday break, announced HPS Athletics and Wellness Director Tom O’Brien.
The workout room, updated and improved with new weight and cardiovascular workout machines, will be made available to the public for a fee for the first time, O’Brien said.
Members of the community may use the center for a $3 fee per day. HHS students, who must bring their school ID, will be able to use the center at no charge.
The fitness center renovations were completed last fall, funded by a donation from local businessman Ernie DiBurro.
