Parkinson’s Moving Day – A Message from the Superintendent
This email is being sent out on behalf of the family of Cheryl Wood…Cheryl has worked in a variety of schools for many years…and her son is on the School Committee here and the Whittier School Committee…I’m sure your support would be greatly appreciated…Thank you,Jim
October 12, 2017Dear Friends and Family,Only two days left!!!! I need your help. There are 1 million people living with PD in the country, and 25,000 here in Massachusetts. And my mom’s story is just one of them, but it’s the reason this cause is so important to me, and why I’m working even harder this year to raise funds and awareness for people living with Parkinson’s. This year has been rough for her, and living with PD is a struggle, but Moving Day is an opportunity to celebrate and bring hope to this horrible disease.
Team Wood needs you! If you want to join, click this link and come walk with us at Artesani Park on October 14. If you would like to donate, here is the page: https://movingdaywalk.org/…/moving-day…/participant/1369790/.
For one day I will walk in honor of my mom, Cheryl, because she lives with Parkinson’s every day.
Sincerely,Scott Wood, Jr.
